The Experience
Three simple steps. One better dive.

Strap on Makai Bands and enter the water. The device automatically detects when you submerge and begins tracking your breath hold time and depth, allowing you to focus to your body's signals and enjoy your dive.
Back on shore, open the Makai Bands app to see your session. Browse your dive log, track your breath hold progression over time, and understand how your body responded — all in a clean, distraction-free interface.

Freedive Safety
Makai Bands tracks while you dive. The only instrument that should dictate when you go up for air is your own body, not an external dive computer. Freediving safety lives in the signals your body sends. The simpler your gear, the better you hear them.
Refusing to surface until you reach a certain breath hold time ignores all of your bodies signals and is very dangerous.
At a Glance
Five LED lights on Makai Bands give you instant depth awareness underwater — no need for a screen. Each light represents 10 feet, so you always know how deep you are at a glance.

As you descend, the lights illuminate one by one — each marking 10 feet of depth. You can feel your depth at a glance without needing to look at a screen.
The lights are positioned for easy peripheral visibility while you focus on your dive. No need to look down — you'll instinctively sense your depth as the lights change.
Makai
Every dive is a journey inward and downward. Makai is your companion on that path — a band that reads your body, honors your limits, and lets you stay present in the deep.
